Star Wars AU Idea:
The Chosen One™ prophecy was misread by the Jedi: it refers to not a literal individual, but two bound together as one by...marriage. Anakin Skywalker is one-half of the Chosen One; he is the masculine half. This leaves the Jedi scrambling to find who is the feminine half.
As you'd expect (though much to the Jedi's surprise), it's Padmé Amidala. The Jedi are baffled because she has no Force sensitivity...until she does via a condition known as "Gestational Force Sensitivity" (basically she has powers due to carrying Force-sensitive children). So while she's pregnant, Luke and Leia are powering up Padmé from within the womb, and she is tremendously powerful due to them having Anakin's DNA. Thus, the two need to combine their powers to finish off Palpatine for good.
Also, Padmé's main Force power is creating glowing energy orbs shaped like lotus flowers and firing them at Mecha-Sheev (yes in this AU there's a boss battle with a Mecha-Sheev rampaging through Coruscant).
I think Anakin and Padme would like dancing together.
