OK SO BASICALLY! I'm a liar they are technically mostly magical women. (+ one magical girl + one magical boy) They are the cast of a webcomic I'm working on that I am not going to explain at all at this time 🧡 LMAOOO. HOWEVER COMMA I made little profile things for the team below... all designs are subject to change this is genuinely my first time drawing them all and I definitely want to refine and stylize them a fair bit. The like. concept for this team of magical girls is time based. With each of them representing a state or period of time. In a way that I will not clarify at present. 🙏
Jason is the team leader and the like. underdog-iest underdog ever. She's kind of pathetic. And very aloof. But so SO kind underneath all of that. Her mommy issues are plot relevant and not getting better any time soon.
Rina is my favorite character a childhood friend of Jay. They grew apart when Jay moved and didn't reconnect until adulthood. Rina is a femme lesbian. She's very straightforward/blunt and intuitive. She's a softie that carries the weight of the world on her shoulders out of a twisted sense of obligation. (She will unlearn this. Mostly.)
Nadine is a very bubbly, outgoing person. She serves as living proof to the rest of the team that better is possible and that they all have hope of a future. Everyone who meets her wants her or wants to be her. Just generally magnetic and fun and free.
Matty is a nonbinary butch lesbian. Very "call me whatever" approach to gender. I'm gonna be real with you mostly she's just cool and hot and Rina's. Matty gets told that Rina takes care of everyone, says 'who takes care of Rina?' and then doesn't wait for an answer. And I love that about her. Big hot butch. yes.
Darcy is Jay's little brother. He's a gifted kid and an overachiever. Another misguided carrier of the weight of the world. I'm being intentionally vague.
15 fell out of a rift in the world during. A plot event. In her world she is a magical girl and her entire team is dead. In this world she is on a self imposed mission to keep Jay's team from the same fate. The team calls her 15 and Rift interchangeably, she refuses to give them her name.
ALSO height comparison. (not indicative of body shape, I will do full body art for all of them...soon but I am NOT doing it rn.)

Peeta's knee still ached. He really had been overdoing it lately. He found his crutches in the back of the closet and used them to make his way down the block to the bakery.
Conrad took one look at him and nodded. "Just do the cakes, son."
"You know I can do other things, Dad." Peeta argued.
"I do. I also know that you had barely surgery three months ago. You're not supposed to be up on your feet and lifting nearly as much." Conrad pulled the stool to the decorating table. "I'm glad you got the crutches back out. When do you go to your next physical therapy session?"
Peeta sighed and propped the crutches against the wall. He tied on his apron and walked to the sink to wash his hands. "This afternoon. At three."
"Good. I'll drive you." Conrad turned to the fridge to retrieve a cake Peeta had started the day before.
"You don't need to do that, Dad." Peeta took out the piping bags and other decoration tools. "I'll Uber."
"You'll get a ride from your old man." Conrad slid the large bucket of frosting over to Peeta. "Because I love you and I want to make sure you get there and home safe." He pressed a kiss to the side of Peeta's head. "That needs to be done by noon." He walked to the front to finish setting up the cases.
