Steven's body healed the wound. It scarred. His powers sped up the healing process. What should have taken weeks of healing happened in about an hour because of Steven's powers.

They work a bit differently here to fit the story.

I can't make his powers perfect here.

Why is he called Griffen in world? Was his name actually changed? Or has he already encountered alternate versions of himself?

He was born with the name Griffen. When Greg and Rose were planning to have a child, they assumed the child would attributes similar to Rose (who was also a wolf/sparrow). They decided on Griffen for a boy and Luna for a girl.

This still brings up the question of where the story takes place. Previous comics show that it is somewhere in Ralph's world, but that is it.

It’s more of a void. sometimes it’s Ralph’s world, sometimes it’s Griffen’s world, and sometimes it’s a void where they can make objects and place appear as they please. Like Rose’s room, but with physical things.

I wanna give you a huge explanation on why Spinel would DEFINITELY see that but, again,

Besides, these asks are not Canon to the story in any way other than showing how these characters WOULD react in situations. This isn't an ask blog, I just started to answer them for fun. So yes- in the actual episode Maximum Capacity, Spinel does NOT follow Steven, but she almost does. But none of that is important enough to have an episode, since that ep is about Amethyst and Greg. I want to keep it that way.

Oh, Greg will be incredibly angry. But he knows that he can't do anything about it. After all, he's never really been involved in gem stuff. He mostly just tries to avoid the gems for a while.
