The Wacom,TX team went to CAKE (Chicago Alternative Comics Expo) and passed out some swag, met our favorite artists and mingled with the crowd.

Jeremy Onsmith cleared his throat, sipped beer out of a mug, and launched into a perversely poetic lecture on sex and power in the workplace, aided by a business casual sonic backdrop and spread sheets, dispersed among the audience, detailing budgetary measures for sex slave employment at Brain Frame 17 on March 22nd, 2014.

LINEWORK 5 Exhibit

Linework is Columbia College Chicago’s student-run comics and graphics anthology and continues as a feature in the biweekly publication New City. 

  The new issue, Linework 5, is curated by Ivan Brunetti and consists of an exhibit and accompanying catalog, spotlighting 5 Columbia alumni: long-time contributors David Alvarado, Kevin Budnik, Nick Drnaso, Marieke McClendon, and Onsmith. 

  Don't miss this one-day special exhibit of comics, drawings, prints, zines, sculptures, and sketchbooks.
