So it is official! Going to Athens in April. For 2017 I wanted to qualify for an individual RX compitition. Guys apologies for the lack of video this week-Kat and I filmed our best one yet but had a few sound issues so you can't hear what we were saying. Gutted! A few basics we wanted to get across were: 1. Work through squat mobility-see previous video http://youtu.be/YWkqGnqXP0Q - you don't want to be no repped on this one. 2. Get the glutes firing for thrusters so you don't fry the shoulders! 3. Get into some v-ups to wake the abs up-this helps prep for the hip hinge you will need to make burpees more efficient. 4. Staying on burpees- don't feel you have to do a press up at the bottom-this will kill the shoulders. As long as you keep global extension on the way up it will allow you a whiplash to get back up. For most of us this will be a longish WOD so we don't want our heart rate to peak for the first time during the round of 21! Good luck guys! Get into it! #crossfit #mobility #openready
