evening fellow pricesoapers i find this bit specifically very gay of soap

also i find it very funny how soap somehow always ends up with nikolai taking care of him when something traumatic happens in his life 😭 e.g. him getting literal RABIES which causes him a phobia of dogs from then on, being nearly stabbed to death by shepherd and watching price nearly die AGAIN + the entire aftermath of all that

because like no offence to nik and i might not be right to assume this because he’s not really a character we know loads about, but if he’s anything like other men in this trilogy i can’t imagine he’s really the most emotionally intelligent?? 😭

like okay headcanon i feel like he’d feel sympathy for sure and want to help but it would just come out kinda awkward and a little unhelpful imagine being soap in this situation and nik would just be like “uh… so, my friend… do you want to hear some stories from the cold war??”

You know what I'd like to see in Modern Warfare 4, if it turns out to not be the bullshit it most likely is?

More exploration of Metal Team. Sandman's early years in Delta, with someone like Eric L. Haney as a technical adviser. Sandman in Somalia, Colombia, or Grenada, or Grinch or Truck or even Frost in Iraq and Afghanistan. There's any number of missions they could've been involved in and a hell of a lot of potential for character development.

Or how about Soap in Northern Ireland or Kosovo in his pre-Regiment years? Or Price, Gaz, and Kamarov in Beirut? It's not as though there's a shortage of conflicts they could cover.

Come to think of it, some missions based on the Modern Warfare 2: Ghost prequel comics or Operation KINGFISH would be nice, but I'm curious; what would you like like to see?
