Zelda’s impact in Malachi’s life has been monumental. Since meeting and getting to know her, he hasn’t given much thought the events that brought him back home, which says a lot considering he was seeing ghosts everywhere. She brings a sort of lightness to his life that was previously missing. Being with Zelda is uncomplicated. She tells him what she wants and doesn’t get upset when he falls into a dark mood and doesn’t contact her for days on end. She gets along with Athena. Plus she has lots of sex with him and a guy can’t complain about that.
Gemma/Andre
Andre can’t say that he expected to meet anyone like Gemma. After Sofia’s birth, he’d resigned himself to being single for the rest of his life mostly because Sofia was the most important thing. So, meeting Gemma took him by surprise. She settles him. She compliments him and she’s the best mother he could ask for for his daughter.
Savannah/Rafa
Savannah’s life had always been ballet. After retiring, she was a bit lost. Not having ballet made her think about what life could have been for her: motherhood, Darren. But then she met Rafael, almost by accident, and things just clicked. She wasn’t looking for a relationship, but that man is sexy and makes Savvy feel sexy. Not like someone who has lived her glory days as yet, and honestly, she’s just enjoying reinventing herself.
