I started a challenge yesterday:

What if there were a universe where all the pokemon and the lore where the opposite of the canon?

I have started with Umbreon

Since it's type is Dark, the opposite type that came to my mind is obviously the Fairy type.

Not only: the main inpiration for its design comes both from the Rabbit of The Moon and a black cat, so I gave it sun vibes, lighter/warmer palettes and I redesigned its shape more "doggy-like" (more the tail and the "rounder ears")

R&B Headcannon: Opposite World Editon

Opposite world!Natasha is rather shy and a lot less intimidating than her evil counter part. She's also not as forward when it comes to romance.

Opposite world!Fearless Leader is very much open about being bi and Opposite world!Natasha tends to come to him with her problems relating to Boris

Evil Rocky and Bullwinkle got their scares and damage to their eyes differently than how normal world Fearless Leader did

Opposite World!Dr. Lesso is an evil scientist who's actually good at what she does and a lot calmer. Her hair is straight and she's the voice of reason in comparison to her Butler. Basically the two switch personalities. Still creates monsters, but they are mean and aggressive

Evil Rocky and Bullwinkle occasionally hire Opposite World!Dr. Lesso to help make devices and monsters

Director Peachfuzz is still a government agent, however in a corrupt government. She's the top spy and still director under Evil Rocky and Bullwinkle. She's a little more together and isn't as prone to fits of anger/yelling. The level of paranoia isn't there either.

Opposite World!Mr. Suitman is genuine business who isn't in it for the money and genuinely cares about his customers and running his business fairly. Lost most of his control of Long Tom Lobsters to Evil Rocky and Bullwinkle.
