The whole thing about 'Marinette stalking Adrien' is that it is pretty much a cartoon exaggerated joke that the fandom doesn't like and points out how weird the joke was, and the show decided to justify that, when they could simply stop writing it. This contributed to Marinette's hate rather than for laughs. I blame Thomas for this.
