Here’s a question, why do the writers of ncis and the cbs team write the absolute WORST endings for every single female character in the show. The men leave and get beautiful goodbye stories and yet the women either get killed (brutally or for no reason and zero explanation) Or get written off as a traitor, as someone who lied and kept secrets, who manipulated everyone, essentially undoing everything the character went through thus making it null and void. I feel like there should be a larger conversation here. This hasn’t just happened once or twice, it’s literally happened with EVERY female lead on the show. The worst endings every time with zero payoff for anything. The men though? They’re fine, they never leave or when they do they get a season long story about it and a goodbye where it leaves the door open for them to come back with no consequences.

Prompt: Skating
Fandom: Mlb
“Come on, bro - you’ve got it” Adrien encourages and Nino glares.
“Shush you - I’m quite content just gliding around over here, I have no need to show off like yourself mister I-can-skate-backwards”he sasses and Adrien grins right back before turning and facing forward again. Soon however he jumps into an 180 degrees turn and faces Nino again, whom’s starting to look mildly annoyed.
“Knock it off, you show-off!” Nino exclaims but Adrien merely chuckles and skates right up next to his friend.
“You know you love me” he teases and wiggls his eyebrows, leaning closer. Nino has a deadpan expression on and puts his hand over Adriens face before pushing him away.
“I really don’t” he responds and Adrien pouts.
“Boo, you whore” he complains and Nino groans.
“And stop quoting Mean Girls!”
Adrien laughs out loud at that and the grin is ever-present on his face.
“Just get a move on you slowpoke!” he chuckles and with a playful glint in his eyes he grabs ahold of Nino’s hands and starts skating faster.
“No wait, dude, what are you doing holy shit I’m going to die I’mgoingtodieI’mgoingtodieI’mgoi-” Nino rambles off in a panic and Adrien rises an eyebrow.
“Nino, I’m still holding on to you. If you fall I fall” he says calmly and Nino stops talking, hesitantly meeting Adrien’s gaze.”So like, don’t fall - that would be awkward” Adrien finishes and Nino can only gape.
“Asshole! I thought you cared about me” he whines and Adrien bursts out laughing.
“I’m kidding, chill. Just relax and imagine you have a song in your head - that’s the beat you’re following” Adrien instructs, and altough Nino’s looking hesitant he does as he’s been told and takes a deep breath in order to relax. Then he gently starts humming a song he’s been working while looking intensely at his feet, completely missing Adriens proud expression.
As he notices Nino getting lost in the song, beat and rhytm he gently speeds it up even further. Nino merely continues humming and Adrien grins before growing even bolder, continuing to increase the speed. Soon they’re going as fast they can while weaving through the people. Adrien just can’t help himself, he lets out a whoop of joy which effectively pulls Nino out of his bubble.
As soon as he notices the speed they’re going in Nino panics. By panicking he goes stiff, by going stiff he starts to lose balance and stumble and soon he’s brought him and Adrien down in a heap of tangled limbs.
Groans emit from the both as they just lay down for a moment, feeling bruises shape already.
“Excuse me, but I thought I told you to not fall” Adrien says indignantly, but he makes sure a teasing tone creeps forward.
“Oh well, excuse me Your Highness - I didn’t know your delicate skin couldn’t handle a fall” Nino replies sarcastically and he looks at the blonde fluff that is his friends hair. He catches the quivering in Adriens lips, feels it in his own and soon they’re both laughing hysterically.
Bumps and bruises asid they get uo and continue skating - why waste a perfectly good day?
For me it is currently 23.33 (11.33 pm) so I am not in fact late with posting - and writing - this.
