(while I could genuinely see Mage in the knowledge and suffering parts, her arc fits better with Heir as she naturally grows to a connection that she initially uses minorly, extremely logical and overwhelmingly smart, mental parallel with bug hive)

Lisa: Seer of Light

(The knowledge, the drama, the guidance, perpetually trying to find the best path, sight motif, knows too much, can never act nearly as much as she wants)

Alec: Witch of Heart

(Fairly literally manipulates the self, has a complex relationship with his sense of self such that he often controls and projects it, really specific idea of how people work, the whole Heart and emotional motif with his family)

Rachel: Knight of Blood

(literally fights through her connection with her dogs beyond her power, constantly fights against human connection, obvious literal blood parallels, extremely loyal, really specific idea of relationships)

Aisha: Thief of Void

(Invisibility, lack of recognition, simultaneously self focused and actively supportive, can't escape the ignorance of her despite any attempts)

I started working on a Futurama fic writers discord server. I have the channels, but I need to work out the rules, roles, and other things. I’m also not quite sure what to do about moderation (**I’ve never run a discord server before, so I’m a bit nervous**). Here are a few things I would like to establish about the server:

People will be able to promote their writing on this server.

I would also like it to be a place for people to share their ideas without judgement. This includes general ideas, aus, ocs, etc.

You do not have to be a writer to join. All Futurama fans are welcome.

There will be a section for sharing and promoting art.

There will be a section for writing advice, which will include channels for constructive criticism and spag.

People will need to consent (share their writing in the proper channels) to get constructive criticism and advice.

Sharing other people’s art, writing, amvs, etc. without the proper credit will result in the message getting deleted.

There will be no bashing of ships, characters, other fandoms, etc.

There will be no bashing of other fans. I want the server to feel as welcoming as possible.

This is will be an 18+ server.

No underage writing or discussion. Period.

I want to create a space where fic writers can feel safe and comfortable sharing and discussing their works. I want this to include all fic writers, regardless of what you ship, if you write gen, if you write smut, if you write reader/self insert, if you write ocs, or if you are a new writer.

I’m not sure how many people would be interested in joining this server, just because there doesn’t seem to be a super active writing community for Futurama. However, because this is such a small fandom, I think it could be nice to have a space for the fans who are writing/interested in writing fic. <3

Star Wars Fanfic Writing Tip

So you just got into Star Wars b/c of the Mandalorian and totally ship Luke/Din. Yes, hell yes you go Glenn Coco four for you. 

But, you may find yourself wanting to do an extended family for the Skywalkers. I.e. You wanna include Leia and Han’s offspring. 

Now maybe you’re new to the SW fandom and only joined after Disney bought it. Maybe you don’t know about the EU or even what it is. 

Let me tell you: It’s the best fucking thing to use so you don’t have to use Kylo Ren. 

For the unknowing, the EU was what continued the star wars universe before the sequels. Or the Mandalorian. 

While I have some issues with the EU (fucking Mara Jade ugh) (No offense if you like her but my Luke Skywalker is gayer then the entire cast of Queer Eye)

There is something I like and would encourage you to use instead of fuckboi galore Kylo Ren: Han and Leia’s children. Jacen, Jaina and Anakin Solo. They are each fascinating characters and have so much more to them then Kylo did. 

(Not to mention Ben Skywalker and Jacen Solo’s relationship is super fascinating. )

Please please use these characters instead of whatever the fuck Kylo Ren is. 

(Finn and Poe are hella okay imo and Rey is ...fine I guess)
