no to be less flippant about it this is so lovely, because her struggling with the curse is what broke them up before, left her incapable of being honest with them, kept her from treating them how they deserve, as a real equal partner. And I don’t know if they necessarily know what this means, but I have a feeling they do-- this is her, truly herself and at peace with it, being a grown-ass woman and a mother and handling her illness with determination. This is the truest version of Eda, a badass harpy ready to go do whatever it takes to get her son back.
And they love her so much.
