no to be less flippant about it this is so lovely, because her struggling with the curse is what broke them up before, left her incapable of being honest with them, kept her from treating them how they deserve, as a real equal partner. And I don’t know if they necessarily know what this means, but I have a feeling they do-- this is her, truly herself and at peace with it, being a grown-ass woman and a mother and handling her illness with determination. This is the truest version of Eda, a badass harpy ready to go do whatever it takes to get her son back.

And they love her so much.

Poor Eber looks like a goddamn Polly Pocket. The various beads on Adrien’s tail are throwing me off because they’re so oversized they make him doubly look like a doll, like a kid braided pony beads into their barbie’s hair.

If Darius has any consciousness in there-- and I kind of hope not, for all of them, because dear god how horrifying-- he’s just silently raging about this playskool nightmare he’s wearing

I’ve missed Raine so much, and to see them like this is so terrifying. Their hair all swooped up in a way that is utterly not their style, the terror in their eyes, the way they’re half slumped forwards.
