Malachite’s my favorite
About two years ago I had a major change of style and made a bunch of agates that fuse into rainbow agate a permafusion that lives on mask island!! They are also defective agates and are shorter than the average agate!
Red Agate: she’s the leader of the agates! She mostly takes the reigns in decision making!
Orange Agate: she’s the most “rebel” out of all of them, think of her like amethyst but much more careless!
Yellow Agate: she is the kindest one of them all and is the easiest to talk to as described by her partners!
Green Agate: she does not do much and tends to keep to herself more than the others! Though she still loves everyone deeply
Blue Agate: she is the smartest of the group and typically gets asked by Red on what she should do!
Purple Agate: she is the most childlike and captivated the hearts of the others! She can get away with most things if she just bats her eyes!
🏜Orange Agate🏜
Not actually made of agate 😉 I love the way the white ink ended up making a more of a stripe pattern rather than a swirl pattern. And of course, I had to include a tiny bit of shimmer powder 🥰

This was a drawing idea I've had for a long while, and had been meaning to put together for a long while as well, especially when I realized each Monster Cereal member has a gemstone that shares their cereal's flavor... Chocolate Diamond (previously known as Brown Diamond) is an oddity of a Diamond. Loaded with tons of imperfections in her gem, she was never used as a glamour symbol on Homeworld for the longest time. Rather, she was an industrial leader, conducting various projects. A sudden shift lead her to being considered "fashionable", and she was soon stripped of her industrial rank and became a status symbol leader, something she honestly didn't care for. While she likes her new look and name, not being able to be busy has driven her batty, so to speak. She eventually fled Homeworld and met various like-minded Gems, forming a new team. Weapon: Can manifest darkness into fine drill-like points. Works both as a torture technique and a way to cut through materials. Strawberry Quartz had the makings for a "perfect Quartz". She was built with perfect build, perfect strength, and perfect toughness. There was just one small issue with her: she's sensitive as all get go. Ultra-tender, ultra-empathetic, and ultra-kind, this hindered her ability to be a soldier in the eyes of Homeworld. Risking shattering, she fled, eventually coming into contact with Chocolate Diamond. The first gem to join her team, she is the closest to the Diamond. Oddly enough, this closeness has helped Strawberry break into a tougher side, as having friends means having something to fight to protect. She prefers not to fight whenever she has to, though. Weapon: Gauntlet, can also perform the standard quartz "spin attack". Blueberry Quartz is an experiment gone wrong. In the attempt to create an "artificial gem" without any natural elements, a glass gem was created, albeit a small one. This size, combined with accidental overcooking, led to a Quartz that hardly looks like a Quartz. Realizing she was in danger from the start, she quickly fled. Earning the nickname of the "Phantom Gem", she has miraculous shapeshifting skills that lets her blend in easier with society. Unfortunately, her fatal mistake was imitating a Sapphire and being forced on the spot to give a prediction. As she braced herself for her shattering, she was saved by Chocolate Diamond and Strawberry Quartz. Moved by their teamwork, Blueberry Quartz quickly joined their cause, becoming the third member of the team. Weapon: Brief and weak chain conjuring, prefers near-limitless shapeshifting abilities instead. Cherry Quartz is the second attempt at creating an artificial gem. Also created from glass, she had a much better size given to her gemstone, and had begun to work out as the true start of these experiments. Unfortunately, lots of glass means lots of shatter points. During a mission to find the rogue Gems, she was cracked. During this distorted time, she was accidentally poofed and abandoned, letting her lost gemstone be found by the very Gems she was hunting. As they did not have the proper glass to fill her gem in with, they used various strains of other glass before she reformed. While this put her damage on hold, it also led to her becoming semi-corrupted, gaining a permanently wolf-like form instead. Despite the fact she copes with this new form, and was grateful enough for being saved that she decided to join the Gems that saved her, she has the tendency to lash out in anger thanks to her new form, and honestly would just like to return to normal. She's the first one into battle for the team, leading the attacks. Weapon: Originally a spear, unable to summon with her corrupt form and uses her new claws, which are hinted to be the same material as her original spear. Orange Agate was created as the head of a team of various Quartz soldiers. As an oddity to the Agate way, she was ultra-nice and jovial with her team. While this lead her as being popular with the Quartzes under her command, it angered much higher-ranking Gems to see her so amiable. A coup was formed to off Orange, but her Quartzes, in a case of returned kindness, fought off the Gems and told their leader to flee for her own safety. Lost and alone for a while, she eventually found the rogue Gems that she had heard stories of, and quickly befriended them, becoming their fifth and final member. She is the "cheerleader" of the team, giving them the highest moral support possible, while also cracking jokes and doing whatever it takes to boost spirits. Weapon: Cloth-like whips.
The poster for the SU movie inspired me to get to work on some art of some old gem ocs I haven’t drawn in a while. Here we have Emerald the overdramatic flirt, Hawk’s eye the performer, Orange Agate the parental leader and Charoite the total gremlin.
