Dancing in the inferno - Multicolor Plume Agate Slab
A pair of handcrafted sterling silver earrings featuring deep purple agate, shaped like soft, flowing drops. Each stone reveals layered bands of indigo, lavender, and cool blue, creating a natural rhythm of light and shadow. Oxidized silver in shades of grey, silver, and black forms a sculptural frame around the agate, highlighting its organic beauty. Length 6.4 cm (2.52 in). One-of-a-kind artistry.

Purple Agate
One the leaders of the Agatekeepers and the one who started their rebellion against the Diamonds that they all served. She is 3’7” and even smaller then Pink Agate and Blue Lace Agate. She is an elemental Gem as she can control the air via making wind. Very little is known about her due to her elusive nature of hiding within the core area of the Sky Island. But it seems what is known comes from the horrors that she went up against.
Purple Agate, it seems, was a kind leader who led the group alongside her longtime lover who was called Red Agate. He was close to her and they both wanted to prove even flawed Agates could be useful in combat and be more then gatekeepers meant to keep Gems out of places they shouldn’t be. Unfortunately their plan hit a problem; A fusion known as Albite stood in their way to prevent them from achieving their goal.
It was the battle that proved fatal for Red Agate, and cracked Purple Agates gem. Her lover was shattered and her heart was devastated. There was then a betrayal among the Agatekeepers that led to several more being shattered or poofed and bubbled away. Purple Agate escaped alongside the remaining loyal ones before Albite could strike again. Purple Opal first appeared around this time to help the others escape.
Now several long years later, Purple Agate has been sighted within the Sky Islands core. She stands there quietly with the bubbled shards of Red Agate. With her gem still cracked, harsh winds blow around her preventing most from getting close. Due to her damaged gem, one of her hands is clawed. It is believed a white heart pattern is etched into her gem as well but the damage has hidden it. It is assumed only Purple Opal may be able to speak to her and heal the cracked gem.
(Old art but with a redo of things it’s the current appearance.)
I made this bracelet using purple agate beads.
