Whyyyyy are all of the shows with orange protagonists on tv right now medical dramas? :’((

There’s nothing wrong with a good medical drama here and there, but I wanna see more oranges in fantasy genre stuff

so people are talking about orange protagonists, and apparently "recommendations for books about castes other than blue and green” is my thing now, so this seems like a good time to talk about Carya and Raven.

the protagonist, Carya, is a two year old orange kid whose family just swapped into a new country. he doesn’t speak the language yet, he’s trying to meet people and learn a new set of social rules all at once, and then he finds a crash-landed alien, Raven. most of the book is about the kid and the alien learning the social norms of this new society, from their vastly different backgrounds. it’s for kids but it’s really, really good.

Today was the retirement ceremony for Vireto Tilames.

They’ve given the Unaligned Orange League ten years of dedicated service as it’s head. We should all give them a round of applause for the amazing work they’ve done!

I’m reading a book sort of like that right now, actually

I mean, it’s a magical therapist rather than a magical doctor, but same idea

I’ll make a post about it :) It’s been pretty good so far, and maybe you’ll like it too :))
