My current job is ending in May, so in my never-ending effort to step into a career that I don’t hate, I’ve decided to try my hand at book covers and start building my portfolio.

This is ORANGEBOY by Patrice Lawrence. I loved this book and I loved reading about my area of London in fiction. Again, this was an illustration I’d already made, so re-working it as a cover design was really about what felt right and the most visually appealing part of the original.
