Exchanging contracts on my house tomorrow! I guess...
That’s so exciting!!!!!!! Congrats!!!
Heeee thanks! Just kind of wish it was happening in a week that didn’t also have reports and parents evening... would just like to sleep...
Should get the keys on 11th December! In by Christmas. Or not, if I don’t buy any furniture. Hmm.
@orangeshipper I don’t think I could have just one highlight!
But a highlight of each section maybe…
Singapore - drinking cocktails with my friend Kristie at the top of the Marina Bay Sands.
Sydney - a toss up between getting the harbour ferry on a gorgeous day with two friends from England - I love being on the sea - and going to see La Traviata with my cousin. Really special.
The train - visiting Coober Pedy and the Breakaways. Google it. It’s not beautiful exactly - it’s like a post-apocalyptic Hobbiton in a lunar landscape, but it’s really *different* and inspiring.
Adelaide (so far) - Sunday was a lovely day walking the dog along the beach, getting bacon sandwiches, swimming in the pool, playing table tennis and talking about family. Simple but lovely. :)
Melbourne - still to come!!
You can tell a lot about a person by the type of music they listen to. Hit shuffle on your iPod, phone, iTunes, media player etc and write down the first 20 songs. Then tag 10 people. One rule: no skipping.
I was tagged by silhouettedswallow, thank you for indulging me. Music and memes, two things I really enjoy... :) This list is from the whole of my iTunes, mixed classical and other stuff. I didn’t choose a playlist.
Oh dear, I am such a 90s girl... :)

The wonderful Lala-Kate tagged me to name Three Things that Annoy me to an Unreasonable Level. Time for honesty, it would seem.
1. Hidden misogyny: By men I like and respect. Most don’t even realize they are doing it. Like doing things without offering it beforehand: paying the bill at the restaurant, tearing something out of my hand to carry it for me... “Sorry, I meant well” is not an excuse!
I genuinely HATE unhidden misogyny, of course. But this goes without saying. :)
2. Someone discovering my perfect working spot: I am a bit strange in that matter. That is: really strange. But my ability to really focus and concentrate on high speed depends on a lot of seemingly random things. Like colors in a room, the noises, the smell, the light, the position of furniture. If I have found the perfect place, like a certain spot in a library or in my office, I NEED to go there and work from there or I get lost in space... And if someone discovers the beauty and perfection of this spot, too, I am usually heartbroken...
3. People being mean to their kids and calling them names in public: No need to explain, I suppose. Can’t stand it!
I am tagging Klarinette49, Illaine, Orangeshipper, Cc-weaver, Silhouettedswallow, petercapaldork
When you get this, you must publicly post something nice about at least 5 different people you follow, then copy and paste this in each of their ask boxes <3
1. Illaine: Amie, alliée, complice - intelligent, funny and preciously sarcastic. An absolute gem and, pleeze, never to be lost to my inbox. Have a rose @->– And chocolate!
2. Klarinette49: Clever, bright, funny, talks faster than a Ferrari drives… ;) and is one of the keenest enthusiast about things she likes (and dreams of) I have ever met. I am so glad to know her.
3. Cc-weaver: This is a person you should really get to know. She’s incredibly nice and warm, funny, loyal, very generous and a FABULOUS singer!!!
4. Orangeshipper: Such a lovely creature, writes the most philanthropic, humane stories, combines a big heart with a very bright spirit and gives the best hugs! :) Here is one for you!
5. And of course Lala-Kate: Generous and incredibly funny, writes wonderful stories and has a high functioning diplomate’s gene in her DNA. A very good friend and a keeper. She usually complains about her hair, which actually is very nice. You should look for yourselves… ;) Take a very big hug!!!

A hasty decision leads to consequences that will change their lives. AU S2 - how it should have been!

ALSO STEPHEN. He left the same week as Sarah. He was magic.
Damn, I've clearly missed out!
We're now watching Take Me Out, though mainly so I know how it's set so I can do Odyssey Take Me Out with my fourth year. It's strangely compelling and thank goodness nobody is wanking over terrible singers like in The Voice. Grr.
