You’d think an aspiring super villain would feel more nonchalant about murder, but Oliver actually gets incredibly queasy over the thought of snuffing out someone else’s life force. This mainly stems from the fact that Oliver is so scared of his powers and how destructive they are. Of course, when Oliver becomes older—around 21—his initial weariness disappears completely. He’s able to kill anyone in cold blood without even batting an eye. Such a stark contrast serves as a heavy dissonance between the Oli of now and the Oli of then, so we’ll call this personality change an alternate ending for our super villain in training.

From young, Oliver’s been told from his father that love destroys. You let someone into your heart, you give them the ultimate weapon to single-handedly annihilate you. This is perhaps, one of the very few teachings that Oliver actually carried out from Dr. Hyde’s lessons. Since then, Oliver always associated getting close to people in that way a bad thing. Especially since his powers are so chaotic. He doesn’t want to end up hurting the person he… loves.

As for sexuality, Oliver would define himself as ‘I don’t really fucking know until I try’. Granted his sexual experiences are on par with an infants, Oliver never really gave much thought to it. Though he would be quicker to admit that girls are more attractive than boys, if the occasion ever arose Oliver may or may not turn down a guy. Who knows, man.

Type of person. Welp, when Oliver jumps over the emotional hurdle of fearing love, Oliver would describe his sort of person like this

Oliver honestly believes he doesn’t have any friends. And why would he? He’s a rigged time bomb ready to explode. He’s a failure to the Hyde name and Malus. He has a rotten personality and a crummy ‘fuck the world’ sort of attitude. But deep down inside he’s a terribly lonely boy. One friend, perhaps, would be all he needed to save himself from a world of utter damnation—a possible ending for our super villain in training.

Sure, he would like to make friends. Maybe with a few heroes—though he’s too damn stubborn to admit it—and Max and Derek would be cool to hang out with but…

Oliver’s pretty damn sure no one would want to be his friend.

So why should he even bother?
