SAHIH-alBUKHARI : Characteristics if Prayer : Hadith 57
Narrated 'Ikrima: I prayed behind a Sheikh at Mecca and he said twenty two Takbirs (during the prayer). I told Ibn 'Abbas that he (i.e. that Sheikh) was foolish. Ibn 'Abbas admonished me and said, "This is the tradition of Abu-l-Qasim." And narrated Abu Huraira: Whenever Allah's Apostle stood for the prayer, he said Takbir on starting the prayer and then on bowing. On rising from bowing he said, "Sami' a-l-lahu liman hamida," and then while standing straight he used to say, "Rabbana laka-l hamd" (Al-Laith said, "(The Prophet said), 'Walaka-l-hamd'." He used to say Takbir on prostrating and on raising his head from prostration; again he would Say Takbir on prostrating and raising his head. He would then do the same in the whole of the prayer till it was completed. On rising from the second Rak'a (after sitting for At-Tahiyyat), he used to say Takbir. Psalm 138
God Answered My Prayer Psalm 138:1-8 A Psalm of David. 1I will praise You with my whole heart; Before the gods I will sing praises to You. 2I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name. 3In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul. 4All the…

I'm getting my containers ready
Today has been a rough, stressful and triggering kind of day where I feel worthless and useless, but I know that these are just growing pains and God is preparing and equipping me with the tools I need for the great things to come in the future...and I have to trust that He knows me better than I know myself and isn't giving me more than I can handle.
There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit! - Romans 5:3-5
Let's pray for a friend of mine's childhood friend. Pray for His family and for many to see Christ through this tough time. Pray for healing and faith. God's Word says that anything is possible for one that believes. I pray that they will truly believe that the God of the universe cares for them and their father so much that He's more than willing to heal.
