"why are you listening to your songs before an orchestra concert" god forbid a girl forgets to practice
Person A: I’m gonna deepthroat my flute.
Me: I would do that to my instrument... but I don’t think deepthroating a Baritone horn would turn out too well.
Yesterday in Advanced Orchestra
It was the last day of school and in orchestra instead of playing music we decided to oragami. We made stars. My star was beautiful, someone crumbled someone else’s star, and it was beautiful.
Today in Orchestra #1
Today in orchestra a bunch of kids hid tuners around the classroom playing tuning As and she couldn’t figure out what the sound was or where it was coming from. She may be a comically bad teacher, but I also feel kinda bad for her because everyone always makes her the butt of the joke. That being said, it was pretty funny.
sweet sounds more like mediocre sounds
band kid: Baritone? More like bari- I make your girl moan.
Just Mit Things #4
Mit hates giving constructive feedback. We theorize that it’s because she just doesn’t know how to, but the one day her supervisor sat in a class and she actually went over sections of pieces more than once, so who knows. She has us play through pieces then tells us it sounds great, or she has us play the easy pieces over and over and over and over and over again, without saying anything helpful.
Just Mit Things #3
Whenever we learn a new piece, Mit never takes it slow or lets us look it through. She just conducts at full speed while we attempt to keep up. Then she tells us it sounds great, gives us no feedback, and moves on.
