Slytherins just get a bad rap because of all the shit everyone sees them do in the books.

Like seriously I'm reading the series again and I'm on the second book and it says "Malfoy paused by a stretch of bare, damp stone wall. 'What's the new password again?' he said to Harry. 'Er--' said Harry. 'Oh yeah -- pure-blood!" Just imagine all the slytherins who wouldn't put up with this password imagine all the slytherins who wouldn't put up with any of the derogatory passwords and would just camp outside in the halls on strike until the password was changed imagine all the other houses taking them in and letting them sleep in their dorms because it wasn't fair they couldn't sleep in their own rooms because they're house wasn't being considerate enough to realize that a password wasn't just a password especially if it implied that someone was lesser because of it this is why we get a bad rap it's because all people have ever seen of Slytherin is what's in the books but in the books we were set as the bad guys so just for all those ignorant people out there not all slytherins are evil plenty of evil wizards have been from plenty of other houses and for the record we don't all care about stupid shit like whether you're a pure-blood or a muggle-born.
