All the fires raging around my bEAUtifUL home state of Oregon, in California, and in Washington, and all the craziness happening in the World, has really got me feeling my mortality and thinking about how pReCiOuS this Life is! I want you all to know I Love yoU and I LoVe this planet Earth and all its creatures, and I LOvE this Amazing WoRLd. Its important that we care about each other and look out for each other because we are all interconnected and interdependent. I am so impressed with my community, and my state, for coming together to help those in need and for being there for those who have been misplaced by the fires and lost their homes and everything in it. Our Firefighters have been very undermanned and underfunded with resources stretched very thin. I have seen so many people stepping up to help their community on every level from bringing Firefighters food and snacks, to volunteering at shelters, to donating food and clothes for people who lost their homes, to community patrols. I have even seen farmers offer up their equipment and man power to help dig fire lines. Beyond that, Firefighters from Mexico, New Mexico, Utah and California have all come to help us deal with this Disaster.
