for the Dracula Daily Asks:
🦇BAT or 🍲FOOD ?
How about both? Both is good! :D
🦇Which Dracula character are you most like?
L-look, um… you may not know this about me (why would you?), but there’s a good reason Jack Seward’s my favorite character. Rational/skeptical to a fault, slow thinker, prone to bouts of self-examination that don’t really go anywhere, can’t see the forest for the trees in a great number of matters, absolutely goes off the rails when left to their own devices… someone who will fail, who I can and will be incredibly critical of, and also laugh/shake my head at their more “WTF” moments… and yet, someone who is also lovable and worthy of love? I love him as a character despite his flaws, so it must be true that other people love me, despite mine. Sorry if TMI, but now you know my terrible secret! ;)
🍲 Do you like paprika hendl? What's your favourite dish that's not local to your country?
YEAH!!!! I made it for myself this year, it was so good!! For a favorite dish, I’m not sure if this question is asking “difficult to get inside your country,” or “not native/traditional to your country,” because for me the answer is different, depending. If the latter, I’m less than an hour away from some excellent pho and ramen restaurants, so that would be my answer in that case (just don’t make me choose between them. Impossible!). For the former, I gotta go with the traditional sheep soup I had in Iceland. It was SOOOO good and of course I’ve never had it anywhere else, and it’s doubtful I will again. I am a soup fiend, it seems! :)
