Hello! These are designs for my original TMNT universe, called TMNT Guardians! I've been working on this for about 6-9 months now and I thought I'd start posting it around social media (I already posted it on Instagram) because I want to turn it into a comic SO BAD. I'll also post the written story, cause the comic is gonna take forever. BUT here's the basic lore for the Guardians Universe!

TMNT Guardians is named after the Hamato Guardianship. A blood line tradition, passed on from parent to first born child. The Guardianship exists to protect the Earth from the Kraang. Specifically, the Sanctuary is what keeps them away. It is a room designed to be a shield, its power feeding from the acting Guardian, while also providing the Guardian inate skills in krder to protect the Sanctuary. Initially starting to Japan, Hamato Hikari was the acting Guardian before Hamato Yoshi, her first born son. When Yoshi inherited the Guardianship, the Hamato house fell, burned down by Oroku Saki. Yoshi fled to the US, seeking a safe place to reestablish the Sanctuary before the Kraang invaded. It was a three month period before the Sanctuary was returned, three months where the Kraang could have accessed Earth. With Yoshi, now mutated and named Splinter, with his four newly mutated sons, the genetic Guardianship declares Leonardo as the next acting Guardian. What could that mean for him? (Spoiler alert, its not good. A lot of deep emotional trauma)
