Why was it that this man often asked, if not demanded the impossible? He wanted to obtain what was an impossible dream and still went for it wholeheartedly. Minato leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes. The letter lay limp in his hands before his fingers tightened at the edges, threatening to tear the paper. That was all the emotion he allowed himself to show.He took a deep, shuddering breath and as he exhaled the words burned in his mind as they turned to ash in between his fingers. They would do what they must…even if it brought nothing but pain. A determined glint gleamed in Minato’s eyes as he got to work on his latest project.

Hey who wants to beta at least 3.8k of Orochmaru/Minato fanfic? I don’t trust myself to catch everything for this many words, so I need some help.

(Oneshot, not a starter) When Orochimaru visits the sleeping Minato for a third time in the same day of his revival, the staff notices this patient is special. The way Orochimaru sits down at his bedside and smooths out the already smooth covers, how he runs his fingers over the side of his face, how he presses the blonde hair flat. He's fondest of the pretty geniuses like himself, he's fond of tragedy. He loves fix-me kids. He wants to give Minato a chance to beat him again. Let the light win.
