Originally, The Orpheus Project (@metimlerega in Israel) was available on a streaming service called Dust. Eventually, Season 2 showed up on @amazonprimevideo. I checked just now and BOTH seasons are on Amazon!! Why is this exciting? Because Michael Aloni (@michaelaloni) joined the cast in Season 2, but it is way more fun to watch both seasons. This series aired in Israel several years ago, but it is now available in the US, with subtitles. The show is somewhat based on Flatliners. It is a mix of hospital drama, a little sci-fi, and plenty of romantic entanglements. A rundown of the post: 1. Michael talking behind the scenes; 2. The Season 1 cast, including @tsahihalevi (who just won @the.masked.singeril), @agamrudberg, @ofershechter, @avigailharari, and @adikvetner; 3. Happy 5th night of Hanukkah! For tonight's special #mcm post with Michael Aloni (@michaelaloni), the focus is on some of his TV and stage work. Photos 1-3: @metimlerega or The Orpheus Project, as it is called here in the US; I've just watched Season 2, Episode 1, which is Michael's first episode as Lev; the 3rd pic isn't from the show, but it relates...; photos 4-5: @malkot_hot, which I watched online with no English subtitles; Michael plays Oz, who is awesome with the boy he's guarding, helping him to recover from trauma & a bit steamy with the boy's mom; @gal_gadot is helping put together an American remake & I think it would be genius to include Michael & have Oz cross over; photos 6-7: Michael starred in Shakespeare in Love several years ago at @habimatheatre; and photos 8-10: Michael starred in Bent starting in 2018, continuing into 2019, working with director @moshekepten; one of his costars included @nadavnates, who he worked with on @when.heroes.fly; I love the behind the scenes photos especially; this was a difficult, demanding play about gay men & the Holocaust; I think it was very cool that Michael and some of the other actors participated in several discussions with the audience after the show. *** Michael is a versatile actor, working in TV, film, and on the stage. He's written short stories and novellas, as well as screenplays. He's directed his own movie, Shir. He's a true renaissance man. I'm so excited to announce that BOTH seasons of @metimlerega, known as The Orpheus Project here in the US, are now available on @watchdust! Why am I excited?
