Happy 5th night of Hanukkah! For tonight's special #mcm post with Michael Aloni (@michaelaloni), the focus is on some of his TV and stage work. Photos 1-3: @metimlerega or The Orpheus Project, as it is called here in the US; I've just watched Season 2, Episode 1, which is Michael's first episode as Lev; the 3rd pic isn't from the show, but it relates...; photos 4-5: @malkot_hot, which I watched online with no English subtitles; Michael plays Oz, who is awesome with the boy he's guarding, helping him to recover from trauma & a bit steamy with the boy's mom; @gal_gadot is helping put together an American remake & I think it would be genius to include Michael & have Oz cross over; photos 6-7: Michael starred in Shakespeare in Love several years ago at @habimatheatre; and photos 8-10: Michael starred in Bent starting in 2018, continuing into 2019, working with director @moshekepten; one of his costars included @nadavnates, who he worked with on @when.heroes.fly; I love the behind the scenes photos especially; this was a difficult, demanding play about gay men & the Holocaust; I think it was very cool that Michael and some of the other actors participated in several discussions with the audience after the show. *** Michael is a versatile actor, working in TV, film, and on the stage. He's written short stories and novellas, as well as screenplays. He's directed his own movie, Shir. He's a true renaissance man.
