♒ - cooking/food headcanon Hia buddie! If you’re not busy can ya throw something out about Osiris? We need to know more about grandpa bird. *me still trying to determine who’s better grandpa Saladin or Osiris, and you seem to know a lot about bird grandpa! I am a noob!*
Well *dusts shoulders* you’ve come to the right place! I’m not a D1 year 1 player but I’ve been playing D1 for a few years and listening to Byf and Merlin games on YouTube talking about the lore so I think I’m pretty qualified to give you info *thumbs up*
★ - sad headcanon When Osiris is sad, he keeps to himself and by that I mean he is distant from everyone, even Sagira. He won’t tell you what’s wrong of course, the man has pride and ego issues, but you can see it and you feel something is wrong with him. Most of the time he’ll just tell you he’s fine, if he talks, and just bottle in the feeling until he gets over it. To make sure he gets better faster, you should hug him, or pat his shoulder, any sort of comforting physical contact. If you ask him what’s bothering him and insist on him telling you, he will only snap at you and keep to himself even more.
☆ - happy headcanon Osiris is his most productive when he is happy. He will be up and about and all over the place doing work, reading, fighting vex, anything. If you’re there to witness this, you can hear the joy in his voice when he talks to you, and he’ll encourage you to work with him. This is probably the time where you get that hug too.
-Family headcanon Since Osiris was exiled from the city and one of the few people he considered even remotely close to family died and the other hated him for a long time because of his obsession and abandoning his job, he doesn’t really have anyone he considers family, except you. You come to realize he’s actually rather caring and sweet and just old when he’s not so obsessed with vex and less interested in his own little thing. He’s like one of those grandpas that loves to sit and talk to you for hours just hearing about your stories and your friends, mostly because everyone already knows his story and he’d much rather listen to yours. Occasionally, if you ask, he’ll take you through different simulants of the forest that you might want to see and it’s during those times you really get to learn more about him (because you always ask him the questions we all want to know about his past love life and such)
☾ - sleep headcanon Osiris doesn’t sleep much because of the always present threat of Vex, and because warlocks tend to have nightmares so he’d much rather not traumatize himself. But when he does sleep, he’s always laying on his side (insert where you come and lay by birb grandad to comfort him through nightmares) He doesn’t move and his breathing is almost silent so it’s almost as if he’s dead but he’s a light sleeper if he isn’t having a nightmare he can’t wake up from, so he’ll hear you walking around or something and then probably get up to see what you’re doing.
♒ - cooking/food headcanonOsiris doesn’t cook but one time you asked him what was his favorite food back in the city and he responded with yeast rolls, which is oddly simple for someone like him until you actually went back to the city and bought a basket of rolls and ate one. He recommended you get a special kind of butter with it too. Usually if you’re really insistent, he’ll tell you to get recipes and foods from the city and bring it to him so that way you two can try different meals together. And guess who has the harpies flying around the kitchen and goblins looking over your shoulder while you stir fettuccine noodles.
Hnnng these are long and they turned into an Osiris and You kind of headcanons but hey I mean, I couldn’t help myself!
