"Bir insanin sizi ne kadar sevdiği, gösterdiği ilgiden, girdiği riskten, ve verdiği mücadeleden belli olur."
Some things are more precious because they don’t last long.

Book Review: The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oskar Wilde
The Picture of Dorian Gray is quite a splendid book with a dazzling story. Oscar Wilde has a queer yet lyrical way to keep entertaining his readers. The book seems to be written of nothing but epigrams. The philosophy of Lord Henry is the most audible in the book: “there is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.” “the only things one never regrets are one's mistakes.” “People are very fond of giving away what they need most themselves.” “When poverty creeps in at the door, love flies in through the window.” “One can always be kind to people about whom one cares nothing.” “What of Art?" she asked. "It is a malady." "Love?" "An illusion." "Religion?" "The fashionable substitute for Belief." "You are a sceptic." "Never! Scepticism is the beginning of Faith." "What are you?" "To define is to limit.” “Art has no influence upon action. It annihilates the desire to act” -Lord Henry “If they know nothing of victory, they are at least spared the knowledge of defeat.” -Basil Hallward “I have no terror of Death. It is the coming of Death that terrifies me.” -Dorian Gray The Picture of Dorian Gray By Oscar Wilde Aug 21, 2017
