Hc that everyone in origins has little moments every now and then where they act a little actually a lot more animalistic and/or wild than normal. (Nicknamed “feral fiasco” by Charlie.) 

Most of these incidents are very much like a cat chasing a laser dot so most of the members end up using this as blackmail against one another and start betting on who would have the next “incident”.  At some point they’ll see Phil repeatedly crashing into glass and staring confusedly at glass bottles filled with water bc “levitating water?? Huh?? How??” as well as randomly picking up the smaller members off the ground and placing them in nests.  Tommy’s moments are a little similar but since he can’t pick most people up yet (minus Sneeg and sometimes Charlie) he just starts pushing people in the direction of the Pube while getting distracted every now and then at every shiny thing he sees.  Wilbur noticing almost immediately that someone hasn’t slept in a while and aggressively pushing them towards their house while growling and hissing at the itchy feeling of sunlight he has even when he’s invisible. This leads to him staring very intensely at whoever hasn’t slept without speaking, just intimidating someone into sleep.

Hey girl, I seem have somehow been able to angstify origins multiple times...

1.) far aftermath of the dsmp where Dreamxd rewrote the world to hide the destruction made on the server, which is why the server itself is so scuffed. Sometimes, because the personalities of majority of the members are far too close to that of the original dsmp members, the magic on the server shakes and cracks, leading to moments where people are acting more strange or terrified or angry at one another for either the briefest moments to whole days. (Might write a few drabbles/oneshots about this one) 2.) Escaped from a lab au which is why some members had their abilities changed, removed, and/or edited. Its not genetic, its just created. 3.) fake world created by Dream using the revival book, kinda like Wandavision where people are trapped inside and can't remember the world outside. There are small breaks, like option one, where escape is demanded and needed. But then the world rewrites itself and everything goes back to normal like nothing happened. The reason Tommy can't fly is because Dream made the fake world, he gets to control how it works. Tommy not being able to fly symbolises the way Dream always seems to control him and how Dream believes that he can keep Tommy from breaking free from the strings, as flying is often symbolises to be freedom.

4.) Ghostbur's limbo. He calls himself Phantombur to try and seperate himself from the hell he's currently in. Origins feels like a dream, because it is.

Y’know I really like the idea of Phantombur’s design being similar to a will o’ wisp. (haha will o’ wisp)

Like, Phantombur is often circled by ghostly blue or green flame, although it doesn’t burn nor give off heat, it still gives a weak amount of light to illuminate his surroundings at night. The flames, when touched by anyone other than Wil, suddenly gets a cold chill down their spine, as well as the feeling of sudden tiredness, as if sleep had come early. The flames also rise and fall with his emotions, growing brighter as his feelings intensify. When it’s daytime, and he’s out in the sun, Wil’s eyes begin to glow a bright green as the fire burns and tears and pierces his skin. Daytime weakens the flame, and since fire needs fuel to continue burning, what better to use than the one that harnesses that ghostly energy?
