Ossification - Gathered in the Ancient Woodlands (full album, 2023)

Happy day to all you! Do you all want some black metal? Well you’ve come across the right post for it. Today we’re taking a ride to Cincinnati, Ohio to get our fix for some raw black metal. We are talking about Ossification and their new album, “Gathered in the Ancient Woodlands”. Ossification right off the bat are taking cue from any and all usbm counterparts. Instead of following usual Norwegian tropes, Ossification makes their sound as dirty and nasty as possible all the while still having a great production. A nice reminder of Ossuary Wraith. Something right away that caught our eye was the song, ‘The 37th Lesson of Vivic’, which many of us here, and we are sure many of you, are big fans of the Elder Scrolls series and Morrowind in particular. Seeing a reference for a 20 yr old game that deserves its love was a very pleasant surprise. Now let’s get back to the music. Remember our mention of the sound being dirty and nasty? What’s even more amazing of Ossification is that they do in a way makes it melodic. There’s a catchiness there that draws you in and keeps you in. We honestly can’t recommend this enough and are very excited for it to be in your ear holes.
Breaking Bones
Reshaping a bone, like renovating a building, makes a lot of mess. Old cells and debris must be cleared to make space for new, fresh growth. Researchers know that osteoclast cells break down old bone, but what about the spongy cartilage often found where bones meet? This three-week old mouse femur, scanned under a confocal microscope, highlights patterns of blood vessels (red) and cell nuclei (blue), but also elusive cells known as septoclasts (green). They lurk near the growth plate (top) – where cartilage is gradually replaced by hardened bone in early life. Researchers find chemical signals that call septoclasts to action, helping with this ossification. They help during healing too, but as fractures heal slowly in later life, the next challenge is to find ways to boost septoclasts in their vital cartilage clearing.

**Steps of Intramembranous Ossification** * Embryologically, skeletal tissues typically derive from mesoderm: the midline (axial) skeleton derives from the somites and the appendicular (the limb) skeleton derives from the lateral plate. * Mesen
Here’s one of our Flashcards that explain Intramembranous Ossification!

New mechanism of bone growth uncovered. Thoughts health innovators?
It is known the growth of children’s bones depends on growth plates situated close to the end of all long bones in the body. These plates are narrow discs of cartilage which provide a continuous supply of chondrocytes for bone formation. However, it remains unknown how this supply is maintained throughout childhood growth. Now, a study from researchers led by the Karolinska Institutet shows…

MY THEORY: Somewhere in Sevenoaks there's a room. The walls are covered in many, many photos of Kylie. There's a filing cabinet full of detailed files of her past boyfriends. The room smells of sweat, anger and unwashed ass. There's one door. It's locked.
So you have no artistic bone in your body, you say? Fear not, for ossification can be enhanced with practice.
