Refuses to let you pay for your own things. Even if its as simple as giving a few cents, he will stop you before you even have a chance to reach for your wallet and he’ll give the money instead.

From the outside, some people think you’re only with him for the money but in reality he’s the one who insists you never pay for anything. Even if you tried (which you have) he somehow always has it pre-paid or has his card already swiped before you can even open your wallet.

No matter how much you tell him he doesn’t need to and you have your own income, he just loves taking care of you and loves being able to treat you to little gifts without worries.

Actually listens to you. He’s usually insistent on going his own way or handling things himself without accepting the advice or help from others when its not needed, except for when it comes to you.

You’re the only person he’ll actually stop and listen to and even go to for advice (for matters that he won’t tell the other members about).

he knows you always have his best interest in mind and always give him honest truth so it makes sense that whenever he’s in a troubling situation he never hesitates to give you a call.

Saves a bit for you (ik I’ve mentioned this in the past). He somehow always has you on his mind, and that doesn’t change when it comes to anything. free goodie bags? He’ll either take two or give you his instead. Other members brought in some baked goods or food to share? He’ll be sure to put some in a container to bring home for you.

Even if it's not complimentary or free, he’ll get an extra for you – plushies, drinks, keychains, his love knows no bounds, including physical means.

You’d think his love language is gift giving based on how much little things he gives you, but in reality he’s just expressing his gratitude towards you in any way possible, he wants to be able to share every little moment with you, even if its something as simple as trying the same dish he had earlier.

Physical touch privileges. He’s not a very touchy guy, he usually tends to shy away from hugs and cheek kisses from the other members when possible so giving you the privilege of all the physical affection and touch you could ever want was quite surprising coming from him.

He’ll even go as far as to accept PDA, as long as its just in front of the other members, not actually in public.

But when you’re at home, just the two of you, he’ll lay his head in your lap or drape his arms around your shoulders, pulling you closer and closer over time until he can lie on your chest or shoulders.

Insists on cooking for you, even if he just got back from the longest schedule and busiest day, he will spend an extra 30 minutes preparing a meal for the two of you so that you don’t have to lift a finger.

So much partner privilege, he gets you into shows, stores, and so many PR packages from companies that he’s worked with – he might even consider asking his manager to partner with a brand that you like, just to get you free stuff.

Understands patience and wanting to take time for yourself, if you need space he’ll give it to you, if you take an extra hour or two on your outfit or look that day, he’ll call and re-arranage the schedule just so you don’t have to rush. 

- Wen Junhui -

Remember small details, no matter what, even if you thought he was barely paying attention and didn’t care – he is intently listening and taking mental notes for the future; so much so that he’s never forgotten little details about you, like you’re favorite album or food preferences. 

- Kwon Soonyoung -

Saves things for you, seats, gift bags, snacks – he always saves a little bit just for you, even if he’s not seeing you that day or half way across the world, if he sees something being given out that you might like, he’ll grab one of for you and keep it in his suitcase until he can see you again.

- Jeon Wonwoo -

Polite, so very polite, you could be yelling and throwing things in an argument and he’ll calmly wait for you to finish before responding in a soft, understanding tone. And it’s not just for you, he is very respectful to the people around him like customer service workers or even just strangers. 

- Lee Jihoon -

Accepting of all your traits. Rather, you’re high-maintenance or low-maintenance, he’ll adapt to whatever little quirks you have – he might be a bit attitude-y about it, but it is never in a serious way.

Creative and outgoing! He loves to impress you and isn’t ashamed to be bold about it, he’ll be so excited for matching jewelry or grand gestures to express his love. Every gift you receive from him is surprisingly thought out and unique!

Matches your energy for anything and everything – lile genuinely he will jump up and down with you in excitement even if he doesn’t know what you’re excited for, he just likes sharing the moment with you.

Admits his mistakes and takes accountability. He messed up? Okay, he’ll take whatever consequence comes from that with a calm attitude; it was his fault after all. And he’s quick to apologize if it's needed, not in a pushover way but in a way that he can see when he’s letting his pride get in the way, and he’s able to push past that and be mature about the situation.

Compliments you when you’re not around, just in his day-to-day life, he could see something pretty like a sunset or blooming flowers, and he’ll think to himself, ‘[name] would love that, they’re so gorgeous’.

Defends you when you’re not around, he’s not the type for confrontation at all but if he sees someone talking bad about your behind your back or he notices a back-handed comment about you, he’s quick to jump in and start defending you, and prove them wrong about the things they were saying.

Takes pictures of you always, sleeping? Picture. Eating? Picture. Shopping together? So many pictures. And he flaunts them off proudly, whether it be by showing them to the other members or changing his lockscreen every few days.

 - Choi Seungchol - Joshua Hong - Kim Mingyu -

He had a crush on you before he knew about the age gap. After finding out, he was a bit surprised since you carry yourself seemingly older than you are. It took him about a day to process it, though, he understands almost an entire decade gap is…a bit off-putting to some.

Despite that, his feelings for you didn’t change, but his actions did. He started caring for you more than usual, just out of instinct – but of course, there are still many teasing jokes about how you’re such a baby, and still have ‘so much growing to do’ (yes, it's both a joke about life experience and height).

 If anyone dares to treat you ‘lesser than’ because of your age, then he’s handling it himself before you even get a chance to react, he will not be letting anyone disrespect the people he (loves) cares about – especially you. 

- Lee chan - Lee Seokmin - Kwon Soonyoung -

He knew about the age difference from the start, but still treated you like an equal in the same way they treat Dino like an equal – playful teasing and occasional rowdiness was the extent of it. 

The only difference is that he does everything for you (when possible)—he’ll run through the rain to get something you forgot in your car or physically drag you away so that he can pay for the meal instead of you. 

He’s a ‘young at heart’ type of person, so you two got along very easily and naturally, which also means he loves hanging out with you at any chance he gets – sometimes his feelings for you get a bit obvious when he’s basically begging you to join and sit next to him for the occasional group movie night.

- Wen Junhui - Boo Seungkwan - Yoon Jeonghan -

He was teasing you even before he knew about the age difference, but once he found out, it was non-stop. Nothing malicious, of course – if you seemed genuinely hurt or bothered by it, he’ll immediately stop and apologize. 

If you tease him back however – he’s very surprised at first, he wasn’t used to how brutal some of the ‘new generation’ was when it came to playful teasing, so multiple times he was just left jaw-dropping at the creative insults.

Don’t mistake his actions, though; there's always an underlying layer of flirting with some of his comments that's not very obvious to anyone else. He also does a lot actions that showcase his feelings towards you, but they’re all done with a faux annoyance – buying you lunches because you ‘need to eat more’ or walking you to your car at night because ‘you’d probably get lost without him

- Lee Jihoon - Xu Minghao - Hansol Chwe - Jeon Wonwoo -

He’s the type to just ‘Oh you’re younger than me? Okay 👍” , he says he doesn’t treat you differently, but actions definitely speak louder than words in his case – no other member gets complimentary lunches or a free pass to play with his hair after all. 

He really tries his best to hide it, but he just can’t sometimes – seeing you not understand the older media references or not being able to relate to certain experiences because of the age gap is something he finds quite cute (and funny).

Sometimes, he gets mental whiplash from hearing you say something very telling of the age difference, like when you say, ‘Oh I can’t make it to practice today, I have a college exam’ he’ll do a full 180 head turn and just stare at you for a moment while he remembers how old you are.

Takes ‘being the leader’ to heart and brings it into all aspects of his life, even when he doesn’t know what he’s doing. You guys could be baking together and he takes the lead despite being completely clueless, and sometimes insists that ‘he doesn’t need a recipe’ (the brownies you guys were making ended up like shit bricks </3)

Will absolutely cut you off mid-sentence to provide his opinion, even when it was not needed in the slightest. Like if you’re talking about a movie you enjoyed, he’ll interrupt you and say ‘Well personally I thought that character wasn’t portrayed well by the actress’ even though literally nobody asked.

- Joshua Hong -

He spends at least 30 minutes every morning finding the perfect scent for his mood of the day and outfit, even if he’s already running late. He insists that it’s the most important thing to his image, despite nobody ever being close enough to smell his cologne spots (besides you :3)

- Wen Junhui -

Sends you those boomer Facebook ‘good morning’ and ‘goodnight’ posts, fully unironically. 

- Kwon Soonyoung -

He once say the ‘rawr means I love you’ and now he’ll periodically rawr at you, it was cute at first but when your grown ass boyfriend is rawring and putting tiger signs up in public it gets to a point… 

- Jeon Wonwoo -

When he doesn’t have his glasses on he tends to just zone out where ever, but sometimes he’ll be staring at someone or you for like 5 minutes straight with the most deadpan look and it gets a little…haunting at times. 

- Lee Jihoon -

If you suggest a cute instragram trend or date idea and he doesn’t wanna do it, he’ll straight up just say his opinion with no filter. “No that looks stupid, I'm not doing that.” 

- Lee Seokmin -

It started as an inside joke where he does the little 👉👈🥺 thing and says ‘pweaseee’, but over time it became less and less ironic and sometimes he’ll the baby voice in public and ask you for something.

 - Kim Mingyu -

Claps when the plane lands and when he puts on chapstick, he puts it on like…around his lips, not on them.

Gives you the most raw, unfiltered criticism – sometimes unwarranted. You could be planning an outfit, and he’ll walk in and start giving his judgment.  

- Boo Seungkwan -

Holds the door for people, and when they don’t say thank you he’ll give the most sarcastic backhanded “you’re welcome” very loudly

Tries to be non-chalent no matter what, like he could be literally proposing to you on one knee, pouring his heart out into a speech of how much he loves you but then he’ll end it with ‘No pressure tho lol’

You? Giving him flowers? No no, it’s supposed to be the other way around, right? He accepts them reluctantly, of course, he’s grateful, but he’s just never been given flowers before – not by a loved one like you at least.

At first, he thought maybe he missed an important date, but after thinking for several additional seconds, he knew he’d never forget something important like that, especially about you. Then he thinks maybe you’re trying to hint that you want flowers, so the next week he gives you a similar bouquet.

He thanks you regardless and finds the gesture very heartwarming and cute – he’ll be sure to keep them in the nicest vase possible and change the water every few days, just to keep them for as long as he can.

So surprised, like full 🙀type of surprise – he’s literally all giggly and blushy as he accepts your gesture, lots of ‘wow’’s as he admires each one with the biggest smile on his face, he makes sure to return the favor and gives you an equally if not more beautiful bouquet in return.

It might even become a little routine of taking turns giving each other unique bouquets every week, each one adorned with special accents and a heartfelt handwritten note.

He finds himself staring at the bouquet more often than not, his heart flutters at the thought of you carefully picking out an arrangement, just for him.

Immediately takes it as a sign of you hinting that you want more flowers from him, so he does just that. Now, every week you’re getting a new arrangement sent to you with a little note attached, exclaiming how much he loves you – it works for him well since he’s not always the best with words.

But after you explain that's not what you were doing and that you genuinely just wanted to get him flowers, he’s a bit…confused…In his mind, that's not how your dynamic is; he’s the one who's supposed to get you flowers, not the other way around.

He’ll accept them regardless, he also finds himself feeling a bit emotional over it since he’s not very used to that much….affection and love.

Out of the blue, gifts, saw something you wanted in a store window? Three days later, it's neatly wrapped with a little note and presented on your kitchen counter for you.

He rarely ever says anything about it either, he’ll just brush it off as ‘the bare minimum as your boyfriend’.

Of course, you’ll always thank him and make sure it's known how grateful you are, but whenever you try to surprise him and return the favor, he always declines and says he ‘doesn’t need anything in return, seeing you happy is a gift of its own.’

Sentimental gifts, things custom-made for your little inside jokes, or things that are special to your hearts.

Everything he’s ever given you comes directly from his heart and soul, it's always very thought out and perfectly executed. he loves seeing you happy and he loves even more to express his love for you in every way possible.

He mostly gives you matching gifts, bracelets, or keychains – stuff that’ll serve as the perfect reminder of your unconditional loving relationship while he’s gone on tour or just generally missing you.

Silly gifts, he always lets his inner child shine around you and that rubs off on the type of gift giver he is.

It's also very randomly given, just every now and then he’ll excitedly run to you with a package and tell you to open it, practically bouncing with excitement to see your reaction.

Things like silly matching phone cases or little trinkets he saw and thought of you. He loves showering you in love and affection, while also being able to be his true self without fear of judgment.

Expensive gift giver, he’s not the type to believe that ‘more money = more meaning’, but somehow all his gifts cost at least a few figures.

He makes sure his gifts are of quality and will last a long time, while also making sure that you’ll actually like them, he pays attention to the small details, the way you always wear silver/gold jewelry with certain outfits, and the way you seem to like one more than the other.

He’s quiet, but he is always paying attention. He’s also the type to brush it off as not a big deal, as if he didn’t just drop the equivalent of a down payment on a car to give you a gorgeous present.

As soon as he walks away, he gets hit with a massive wave of regret, seeing the way your expression faded while he yelled over you was a site he couldn’t forgot – he wanted to apologize right away but was too ashamed to look you in the eye again so, he spent the next few hours avoiding you and mentally beating himself up for acting so immature over something as miniscule as an argument that neither of you even remember why it started. He eventually apologized with the most gut-wrenching guilty expression and gave you a long, tight hug after. 

- Boo Seungkwan - Yoon Jeonghan  - Lee chan - Wen Junhui - Lee Jihoon - Hansol Chwe -

It takes him at least a full two days before he apologizes; he has to swallow his pride first, then he realizes how childish he was acting, and immediately feels guilty for all of it. He approaches you very softly and quietly apologizes, his head down the entire time he was talking, too guilty and slightly embarrassed to look at your reaction. He ends it with a very sincere ‘I love you, and I hope you can forgive me’ then a hug, followed by a kiss on your forehead. 

- Jeon Wonwoo - Xu Minghao -Choi Seungchol - Joshua Hong -

He wants to talk about it as soon as possible, but if you need time to cool off, that’s fine; he’ll give it to you, but the entire time, he’ll be overthinking and stressed, hoping he didn’t upset you too much. Once you’re both ready to talk about it, he’ll sit down with you and try to reason out a compromise, and if he did end up saying anything harsh during the actual argument, he’ll apologize for it straight-up. Since things usually end up being solved after the argument, it ends with him giving you a hug and a kiss, plus making you your favorite meal for dinner that night, just as an extra little ‘sorry’

He does not hesitate to speak over you in an argument; he will raise his voice and make dramatic gestures to make sure he is heard, even if that means interrupting you and accusing you of ‘lying’ just to sound like you have a better argument.

Tells ‘harmless’ lies all the time, the type of thing like saying he went to rehearsal that day but instead went and got coffee and walked around the park – he doesn’t see anything wrong with it since it’s not anything serious.

- Joshua Hong -

Tries to ‘see all sides of the story’ way too often, someone could clearly be in the wrong and he’ll make up excuses like ‘maybe they’re going through something right now’ or ‘well maybe it was just a bad day for them’ and he’ll end up siding with the opposing side more often than not. 

- Wen Junhui -

Acts like he can do no wrong, if he makes a mistake he’ll just put up an excuse and brush it under the rug until it blows over. Even if its something that is one-hundred percent his fault, he’ll act as if it wasn’t that bad of a mistake and it wasn’t all his fault.

- Kwon Soonyoung -

Actively chooses his friends over you, which would be fine if it was occasional or for important events/dates but it’s way more often than that, you could have planned a nice date together weeks in advance, but if one of the members suggests a group activity on that day, he will more likely than not choose to go with them instead. 

- Jeon Wonwoo -

Straight up just ignores you sometimes, if he’s tired after a long day or literally just doesn’t wanna interact with you, he’ll just go for hours, sometimes days, just ignoring you for no reason. Not just silent treatment or passive-aggressive ignoring, but completely disregarding your existence until he feels like talking again. 

- Lee Jihoon -

Genuinely refuses to admit he’s wrong, he will fight tooth and nail for hours, knowing that he doesn’t have a strong argument, but still continues regardless. He’ll apologize eventually, but not for being wrong; he’ll apologize for yelling or walking out; but he will never admit he was wrong. 

- Lee Seokmin -

Jumps to conclusions so quickly, you could be just having a bit of alone time after a stressful day, and he’ll immediately think you’re mad at him for something, and he’ll start pestering you to try and figure out what he did wrong. Or, if you start hanging out with another member frequently, he’ll start to wonder if something is going on between you two and he’ll end up getting mad over it, despite nothing happening. 

- Kim Mingyu -

Does not take ‘no’ or ‘I can’t do it’ for an answer; he’s all about motivating others and being uplifting, but there's a line between not pushing yourself and genuinely being unable to do something, a line which he fails to see rather often. He’ll constantly tell you to ‘just try harder!’ and even get a bit annoying about it too, after a while. 

- Xu Minghao -

He ‘people watches’ whenever you two go out, he’ll just look around at people and start judging them based on their appearance or demeanor without ever actually talking to them, he says there’s no harm in it and he’s not serious, but you’ve seen him genuinely get annoyed at someone for a fake storyline he created in his head, just based off their appearance. 

- Boo Seungkwan -

Gets upset over the smallest things, spilled his coffee? Day completely ruined, and he will not try to fix his mood. No more snacks? He’s loudly complaining about it without even considering going out and getting more. This gets particularly annoying in arguments or just in your daily life when you’re receiving a few agitated voice messages from him, complaining about the most menial things.

Never ever faces his emotions head-on; he will always push them away and bottle them up until he eventually just snaps. It’s only happened once in your relationship and luckily, it wasn’t at you, but it was still scary to see. He said he would work on being better about it, but he has yet to do that.

Makes up excuses for everything, even if it has nothing to do with him, he’ll find some sort of excuses for why ‘that’s not actually what happened’, he refuses to take the blame for anything. Even the most harmless things that have no repercussions, he makes excuses to make himself look better.
