I just watched Diamond Dust Rebellion, and the ONLY thing I want to talk about is the scene where Matsumoto is under house-arrest and Omaeda won’t let Renji see her, so Renji tries to start shit by calling him AN OTTER-FACE??? And then Omaeda is like “Did you just call me an otter-face?” and Renji starts cleaning out his ear with his finger and is like “I don’t remember, maybe I did” but then Kyouraku shows up before they actually throw down, why would you DO this to me???
#this was some pure unadulterated inuzuri streetrat trash talk#i feel like rukia felt a tingle go down her spine all the way in the world of the living#OTTER-FACE#i would have rather watched 90 minutes of renji kicking omaeda's ass than... whatever that was#my 2nd fav part was when renji called rukia on the phone and she burst out of ichigo's closet to put him on speaker so ichigo could hear him#i cannot say why this delighted me so much#but it did#this movie was not good and i feel sad for all my hitsugaya-loving friends#it had Bad Lore#we kept expecting the king's seal time travel powers to retcon the entire movie#but it didn't#so i guess hitsugaya and matsumoto know about ikkaku's bankai now#WELP
