Jiggs finally arrives after we were baited with that for the whole week. Obviously, I don’t like the fact that he’s in the U.S. because it opens up a whole new set of obstacles for Cleah. But I’m happy that his arrival actually happened and isn’t just a threat looming in the distance that you can never get away from anymore. In a way, that threat brought me out of my Cleah kilig because it would always turn out like this:
Me:*kilig na kilig sa sweet Cleah moment*
My brain: BUT WAIT. Remember Jiggs is still coming! And will get in their way!
Me: 😑
But nakakainis talaga si Jiggs! Literally everyone is sick of his attitude and his obsession with Leah (Forever laughing at Manang Tiffany’s face every time he spoke when he visited Mang Sol in the hospital because I had the same expressions). Tita Jack tries to do something about it like “Don’t be so arrogant in front of Leah’s family” or “If Leah doesn’t want to get back together with, give her some space” but Jiggs either throws back at her that she was never around so she has no right to say things like that OR he brushes it off. The boy seriously needs to get slapped.
And don’t even get me started on all the shit he said at the apartment. First, he was peacock-ing, bad-mouthing everything Clark worked hard to earn (“Wow this is a tiny apartment. Our house in the Philippines is WAY bigger.”), in an attempt to show Leah that he’s the better man. That he’s better than CLARK. But all that did was piss everyone off and highlighted the fact that was, in fact, a lot better than him. Second, he’s proclaiming all this shit about providing for and taking care of Leah now that he’s here. LIKE IT’S THAT EASY? Especially for someone who has been pretty much spoiled his entire life? “Oh and hey, when my tourist visa expires it’s cool, I can just marry Leah, no problem.” Like you could at least ask the poor girl if she’d actually want to do it?
Leah, how did you date this guy for that long? And why?
I don’t think I have ever hated a character this much so A+ acting Albie Casiño.
