you are patroclus, from the iliad by homer, doomed by fate to be stuck in a love story that has no place on the battlefield. although you always have the best intentions, you have to realize you cannot save everyone. your unwavering loyalty means you often lose yourself in the process of putting others first. take a deep breath, remember who you are, and that you are deserving of the same love you try to put out. you are kind, you are strong, and you give and you give but it is never enough to protect those you love. in the end, it's not even enough to protect yourself.

there's a heaviness that she felt , that rushed to her deep breath . her hand immediately reaching for his and her focus is purely on him . furious at even this thought lingering in his mind , ( this anomaly they've been destined to possess often takes a toll on their everyday lives . ) the price they've all had to pay , –and for ben , she wished nothing more but to be able to go back , and correct what went wrong . but the reality was their biggest reminder that this is their lives now . so she always tried , to make each one remember , who they are and have always been .

you keep quite literally everything bottled up,   don't you ?   you try to be there for everyone else,   but nobody has ever asked about you.   you have a mental list in your head of things that you wish beyond wishing that people would ask to know about you,   but nobody has.   you're afraid that if you tell them,   you won't get the response you crave,   which gets more and more mysterious and gut - wrenchingly necessary with every day that goes by in silence.   it feels like you aren't allowed to exist.
