#EagleThought - Our Choices Matter! Each and every decision that we make, large or small, sets us on a particular path. We make the decision. So we are accountable for the action; not our family, friends or any other source(s) of influential input(s). We cannot blame these sources of influential inputs when the outcomes are not in our favor. As I get older I am more focused on the impact of my choices on my remaining days on this earth. One of the many reasons which I walk is that it addresses areas of my life in which I want to be operating at maximum capacity as I move towards my 70s, 80s and up if I am blessed to be around that long. The walking is strengthening my body, my mental space and my spirit. So the daily walking is a good choice for my future-self! I have consciously made choices to eat healthier and to consume less alcoholic beverages, sugar and high caloric based items. This action is in hopes of reversing years of abuse to my body. I am making wiser choices about the company that I keep; new and old relationships. In these later years there is a need to surround oneself with people that are supporters, not enablers or detractors, but supporters. Those relationships which strengthen you and make one better. There are many areas which could be addressed. Everyone that reads this post can decide your situation. Use items that help you make better choices.
