Chicken Nuggets

Juliette let out a louder whine in protest to the way he stared at her. She shifted again like any of this was going to get more comfortable, shaking her head in protest of what he was proposing.

“No! You cannot leave me alone with them!” 

Now she was sobbing over chicken nuggets. It was a trend through this whole pregnancy, her crying over food at three in the morning. Such was life, though.

Her free hand ran along the swell that was her belly, her carefully manicured nails digging into her dress a little.

“They will not let me have them if you bring them in! What if it is the one mean nurse? No! I just want chicken nuggets. And fries. And a frosty. Babies take time, fast food is fast---”

She drew in a sharp breath.

“Chicken nuggets, Jesse. I am the mother of your children.”

Free Slurpee Day: A Story of Irony; 

Currently in rehearsals for Heathers the Musical, me and one of our JD’s took a picture because we were both dressed up and I thought we were smiling but he thought we were being in-character and when we looked at this picture, it like perfectly summed up Veronica and JD’s terrible relationship.
