groundbreaking idea: batman TOPS superman
i just think that the man of steel who has everything weighing on his shoulders deserves to be vulnerable and at someone else's mercy and that someone should be bruce and that vulnerability should be getting fucked
hello anon 😼😼
i ALSO think clark would struggle with the weight of the world on his shoulders, and YES bruce should be the one to show him how to be vulnerable.
not to nerd out on character analysis but I think at first clark is really hesitant to submit to bruce. it comes from a place of clark’s own self-interpreted strength, and what he thinks that strength needs to look like all the time. clark believes that he has to be perfect and strong and controlled every moment of every day—he can’t not put that forward in his everyday life. and to be fair, he’s right. he can’t relax and let his strength go; he can’t let his anger get the better of him and let his eyes burn red; he can’t be anything other than kind and non-threatening as superman, because otherwise people will fear him.
clark’s mental health hinges on what other people think of him. he wants to be well-liked. it’s necessary for people to look at him and understand that he’s safe. there is nothing worse in the world to him than being feared or interpreted as other.
and with bruce, he’s still hyper-aware of what he looks like and how he acts. he can’t let himself slip, even for a moment. but somewhere along the way, clark has started not to think so much about his behaviour around bruce. he knows bruce won’t judge him and never has, knows that bruce cares for him and will keep him safe.
he knows bruce will look after him, just like clark looks after the rest of the world.
letting bruce fuck him—and that's what bruce called it. letting. like clark could do anything he wanted and bruce would be happy to oblige—letting bruce fuck him is equal parts terrifying and so uniquely good.
bruce takes care of him. he preps clark when they both know clark doesn't need it. he holds him and whispers heated praise into his ear and kisses him when he tilts his head for it. he focuses on clark entirely, gripping him hard and starting a filthy grind that has clark gasping against bruce's neck.
clark has never let anyone do this before. he feels split open, seen, hot and pleased and overwhelmed by how acutely bruce watches him, understands him.
he's sure he'll never let anyone else do this for him. he doesn't want anyone other than bruce and the security he offers to be himself, to act and react without worrying about how he's perceived. without worrying about anyone else but himself, and the beautiful, kind man he shares a bed with.
FINALLY saw the supergirl movie and i can confidently say that lobo did not need to be there and i wish he never was.
finally getting a good flow going with a fic and then immediately getting nerfed by an illness is actually sick and twisted like what’s even the point. do i have to trade good health for good fic. why not both ‼️‼️
