MISCONCEPTIONS In my 30+ years in pageantry, I do have to say that NOT ALL title holders are real beauty queens. Beauty comes from with in and the external, well it's just that, external. I've met countless beauty queens that exude an inner light, a sincere, humble heart and attitude. Then there are those that just wear the crown, slap on the makeup and "think" they are a beauty queen just because they have a title, crown and maybe a sash to wear. I dare those that lack the true inner beauty to walk into a crowded room without those "tools" and "blinged out crutches" and to see if people react and notice them. A true beauty queen can walk in a crowded room and heads will turn as they can feel her light fill the room then her outer beauty is just the icing on the cake. There are some really, unfortunate, dark souled title holders in the world (and I'll only call them that because they hadn't earned the title of beauty queen"). If one wins a title, do something with it...positively. Make a difference in the world. Don't tarnish it with your negative, fake attitudes and only turn on the smiles when you have to be in front of cameras.
