Getting sucked into a Netflix limited series everybody tells you is amazing either ends up a decent original concept with caricature acting and the most predictable and worst twists ever or realistic character-building but ultimately a lackluster ending that leaves you regretful of taking the journey

And then there is that 1 or few Netflix show, nobody talks about that ended up being the greatest masterpieces of of the last decade

Here's the thing:

I feel like we as people have a tendency to overconsume things and have a hard time letting go of things no longer serve us, or never have and never will.

It's like with books. We keep them because think they will get read eventually. It's just not the right time. But we are infact lying to ourselves because they often times, will never be read because there is never that right moment.

What we should be doing is getting realistic with ourselves and give it to someone who will benefit from it and actually use/read it. We literally don't need these things/ books taking up space on our shelves and in our homes.

So I urge you to declutter and think about what's really on your shelves. And next time you go buy a book think about if you really need it and if you will actually read it.
