      ☀ -- Something was familiar about this man. Familiar in a way that sent shocks of irritation (perhaps even malice) shooting through his veins. His memory didn’t seem to be quite catching up with his mind, however, so Kars couldn’t exactly place why he felt such adversity. 

Even so, that wouldn’t stop him from speaking his mind. Wandering into something without fully knowing the extent of the consequences that were to follow had already happened once; though he doubted anything would ever be to that extent again, it did give him a more heightened sense of caution. 

“I don’t suppose you would recognize me either, would you?” he asked in a measured, though testy, tone, making sure it was clear who his was directing this question to with a rather predatory smile.
