I have a soft spot for blackbirds, crows, ravens, jackdaws, etc...but I love them all. I hit the age where birds are cool and I never looked back.

For real though, a rooster attacked me. I was three years old, my nonna said "ok little snow white, go get the eggs for gramma." I hobbled my little 3 year old self over to the lil chicken houses, grabbing the eggs with stubby fingers, placing them in my basket. Suddenly I was blind sided by the rooster! I was screaming, my nonna was screaming! The chickens screamed and chased me as the rooster jumped and scratched me! I was knocked to the ground, and before the rooster could attack me further, my aunts dog attacked and killed the rooster.

My nonna literally never owned another rooster after that and I have been terrified of birds ever since.
