What's a song that you feel fits your muse?

For: Valentino, Alastor, and Stolas if you're accepting asks for them!

Now, THAT is the kind of question I get into!

I have SO many, so hopefully I won't be repeating any that I've posted in the past.

For Val: I feel that Shilpa Ray's Got A Heart Full Of Dirt by Shilpa Ray really captures Valentino's mind when he gets in his head about things. My Val grapples with a lot of shame over his past and struggles with impostor syndrome as an Overlord. If you don't know my Val's backstory, you can read it here.

For Alastor: The Boy by Shannon and the Clams is a pretty good one that combines backstory (his dynamic with his father) with the current issues that he deals with in regard to himself. My Alastor has not been very real with himself or anyone since he was a child, and this song is kind of about that.

For Stolas: Andrew in Drag by The Magnetic Fields. This one is pretty self-explanatory, but I get vibes of him realizing he wants to be with Blitz while in a loveless marriage with Stella.

do they fall asleep easily? not particularly. carmilla has a difficult time convincing her mind to stop working long enough to rest. in life she was a light sleeper, but her responsibilities and constant stress in hell leave her prone to lying awake while mentally sorting through schedules, security concerns and about a dozen other obligations. even when physically exhausted, it can take her some time to actually fall sleep, though once she does, she tends to sleep quite deeply.

are they still or restless? fairly still. while drifting off she may shift positions a few times in search of a comfortable spot, but once asleep she barely moves at all. she usually sleeps curled up with her limbs tucked close, reminiscent of a feline, and often occupies the center of her bed. when sharing a bed, she remains relatively still as well, though she often ends up tangled with her partner, somewhat draped over them if they let her.

For the sake of some intrigue, I won't be stating who these are being said TO.

Stolas circles Pomni, head tilting this way and that, swiveling once or twice with his motions. Fingertips graze the tip of her jesters cap in curiosity before he steps away with soft, hootish laughter. "Darling, you are. . . Incredibly small! My, you look just like a little toy I might have had as an owlet!"

It was always the short jokes with her, huh. Though, it's a given how small she was when everyone else was so stupidly tall. So, in all factuality, Pomni had no foot or say against anything. He didn't seem like the others she's encountered - not berating or degrading like most she's run into the Greed Ring or hell, anywhere IN Hell for that matter. Not directly, anyways.

She expected the circling to prove their dominance over her, but she didn't appreciate being touched whatsoever.

Pomni has overheard Mammon a time or two talk about the birds of the rings and typically, they were royalty or people of importance. So it's best to play nice than to bite.
