What game made you rage quit the hardest?

It was probably Oxyd.

So this is an ancient game. 1990s. Originally created for Atari, but an MS-DOS version was created that you controlled with your mouse. The amount of motor control it took to play this damn game was nearly impossible. I was too young to swear at the time I was playing, but I was definitely throwing-things level mad.

Because the thing was, it was actually a cool game!!! It was just so difficult to get the mouse to behave the way you needed it to to play. And this was in the days of wired mice and not-oversized mousepads, so it was not weird to lose a life because your cord got in the way or you rolled off the edge of the mousepad (because it was pre-optical mice, too).

ARGH! Do you know how hard it is to love a game that is nearly impossible to play?!?
