He hadn’t given much thought to what it would be like working with Sebastian. If he were being honest he’d tried not to think of the other male too often since they’d broken up. It had been hard and for the most part he’d failed, but on some level he thought that they still could have been able to at least make it work. Cory was willing to put in the effort if Sebastian was, and maybe hanging out was the that first step.
As he’d gotten dressed he couldn’t stop rolling his eyes. It was better that he got that out of the way here. Talking to Sebastian already had him feeling like he was on thin ice and he didn’t want that ice to break once they were alone int he same room.
Cory spun his phone around in his hand as he made his way over to Sebastian’s apartment. He had had to give himself a little pep talk before he’d been able to walk out the door, something that he was more embarrassed about than he would have admitted. Even as he raised a fist to knock on Sebastian’s door he felt a small desire to turn and leave. Maybe this was a bad idea.
