It’s Project for Awesome time! Project for Awesome, or P4A, is an annual fundraiser that raises money and awareness for all kinds of nonprofit organizations. We’re in the running for a grant of some of the money raised through P4A, and your vote can help us win.

It’s Project for Awesome! And that means it’s art perk time! This year I have not just my own work to share, but also my mom’s! She made the Hank and John Giving Bunnies, and I made little sets of matching Hanklerfish goodies with a notebook, a pin, and a constellation patch. If you contribute at the Nerdfighter Art perk level on the indiegogo, one of these cool perks might be yours. But if you don’t get one of these, you’ll get something else cool made by another nerdfighter.

Y’all, I cannot get over how cute and funny the picture of all 30+ BunnyBrothers hanging out together is. They’re so so cute.

I have a few extra pins and notebooks, and I’ll be selling them on Etsy in January and donating the proceeds to the Foundation to Decrease Worldsuck for next year’s P4A. Check back here or on my twitter, instagram, or Etsy shop @whimsicalnerd if you’d like one. They will go on sale within the first two weeks of the year. Project for Awesome

For those of you that don't know, this weekend is the project for awesome. This is a 48 hour charity live stream hosted by Hank and John Green, aka the vlogbrothers. For the first 24 hrs of the project, all money donated goes to Save the Children and Last Mile Health and the second 24 hrs of the project raise funds for charities voted on by their family community, Nerdfighters. You can just donate money to them, or you can purchase perks on their indigogo. Make sure you go to project for awesome.com and check out all the important work and also fun going on over there.

For the duration of the project for awesome livestream, until 12 pm EST on Sunday 12/17, if you send me a screenshot that proves you donated at least $25 USD to the project for awesome, I will work with you to make a custom commission. You are perfectly welcome to claim a perk on the indigogo and a commission from me as well. It does not have to be a straight up donation to count. Just because work is hell, I will have to limit this to the first 10 people for now. If I am able to do more, I will open it up to more people as well. Also unfortunately, I can currently only ship to the US.

As well as running the raffle for Lord of the Rings prizes, I have also made this video to support Conquer Chiari in this year’s Project for Awesome.

For those of you who don’t know, the Project for Awesome is an annual event where anyone can make a video to nominate a charity of their choice, and over the course of 48 hours people can vote for nominated charities to win a portion of funds raised for the event - last year they raised over $2,000,000
