I made up the Pack House in Sanctuary (though I told myself I wouldn’t but I’m still avoiding the main story line because I can) after finishing Nuka World off.

Val knows it’s a power move to approach a Raider den without armor or visible weapons. Even bigger BDE to flaunt your boyfriend at the same time (while wearing his clothes), and Mason knows it.
