The reason why Ahsoka isn't mentioned as part of "the team" between the negotiator and the fearless hero in the news in the episode 3 novel isn't because Ahsoka didn't exist when the book or episode 3 took place or anything like that.

No. The reason (at least it's my headcanon) is because when they started getting famous, and the holos were looking for pictures of those two, there was also a lot of interest in Ahsoka, the Padawan.

Of course. The problem is that Ahsoka was young. A teenager. A Togruta, too.

And we know how sensationalists are.

So it's 100% certain that Anakin got into one (or more) fistfights when a reporter got tough with Ahsoka, like a good father/older brother figure. And Obi-Wan, of course, tried to mediate... But also to defend him.

That Obi-Wan himself called Ahsoka "our padawan", you can't tell me that I wouldn't agree to avoid those harassment situations.

darth vader didn’t want anything. he didn’t need anything other then the death of the jedi, didn’t feel anything other then anger and hate and his heart burning and his chest wheezing as every breath was a desperate gasp for air (just like padmé), didn’t want anything but to be let out of the black monstrosity that stole his freedom, his air, his life.

darth vader certainly didn’t need to go to a random moon in the middle of nowhere, to see one of hundreds of cruisers that had crashed, with random dead clones and a random jedi.
