In continuation of this post about how the other Jedi seem to be held at a very different standard from Plo... In season 3 episode 21, "Padawan Lost," Plo is the one who tells Anakin to leave Ahsoka behind after she gets kidnapped by Trandoshans.

And he's not too gentle about it either! His voice is very stern and he's not brooking any arguments.

And I have yet to see one mention of this on any post criticizing the Jedi, especially the Jedi's treatment of Ahsoka in general. Can you even imagine if Mace had been the one saying this to Anakin? Mace freaking called Ahsoka 'citizen' one time and people were saying that it made his death in RotS justified and that his hateful behavior was the reason the Jedi fell - swap Plo for ANY other Jedi here and we'd never have heard the end of it, ever. Diatribes would get written about their callousness. But not a peep about Plo.

Because the fandom doesn't actually like Plo, but rather a made-up version of him that's apparently so much better than every other Jedi and would NEVER agree with their philosophy on attachment, and so every scene where he does something other Jedi would get bashed for is ignored.

And the thing is, the fact that he prompts Anakin to leave isn't a bad thing at all in context! He's right, Ahsoka is long gone from Felucia anyway (something that's abundantly clear but that Anakin isn't facing), and he's still the one who reassures and comforts Anakin about her fate later on because he knows worrying is pointless and Ahsoka can make it on her own!

So yeah, Plo is as caring as the fandom makes him out to be, but at the same time he does act like every other Jedi. He is one!

Now we truly know why Ahsoka was able to survive the hunters from the "Padawan Lost"-arc while the other Padawan couldn't.

It wasn't plot armor. They literally didn't had the same training as she had.

How 15 minutes can impact a decade old episode to make it even more deeper

I know I said I would mainly be doing anime but I just had a thought:

You know at the end of SWTCW S3 in the Padawan Lost arc when Sugi, Seripas and the Wookie chief (and there may have been another bounty hunter) all come in Sugi's ship to rescue Chewbacca and the padawans? Well I just remembered that one person who was originally part of Sugi's group wasn't present at that little fight. Yes, I'm referring to Embo. I was think last night that wouldn't it be so cool if Embo was with them. How cool would it have been if he just jumped in and rekt the shit out of those Trandoshan hunters? The creators should've put him in the episode.

Rex keeps waiting for his comlink to ring, but it doesn’t. He waits for Ahsoka to jump out from behind the fungi, but she doesn’t do that either. She isn’t in the base, on the road, on the routes plotted during their infiltration run, and she’s not at the command points they set up when they landed.

She is, by all accounts, simply gone. He’s cleared enough battlefields in his time; he knows how this goes. He’s intimate friends with the awful wait, with steeling himself for the worst - and how the bad news still crushes a man, even when it’s expected.

It’s hard to stop himself bracing for the grief. This search sweep is almost finished - is it his twelfth, thirteenth? - and he can’t help it, he lingers. Each time he reports in and they haven’t found her, he waits for Skywalker’s inevitable ‘Not good enough.’ Not one of the men has complained about the mud, the flies, or the corporeal heat. They’re all thinking the same thing: one more round. Just in case.

If there’s anyone that can beat the odds, it’s Ahsoka.
