Nepal is a mountainous country and due to its difficult terrain, Terrace farming is widely accepted. Crops are grown on sides of hills or mountains by planting on graduated terraces built into the slope. This is the season of rain(monsoon) and the fields are being ploughed and are ready for paddy plantation.
